Representative Council for the Severely Disabled
The representatives for the severely disabled are elected by disabled employees to represent their interests in accordance with Section 94 of the German Social Code (SGB IX) for a term of four years.
Responsibilities:
- representing the interests of severly disabled people at FH Erfurt
- providing disabled employees with advice
- handling complaints and suggestions from disabled employees
- monitoring legal regulations and agreements concerning severly disabled people
- assisting employees with paperwork to determine disability or regarding equal opportunities
- applying to the respective authorities for assistance for employees with severe disabilities
