Online services for our students
In order to be able to study online at the University of Applied Sciences Erfurt, students need to be able to communicate via email, use the video conferencing tool Webex and the e-learning platform Moodle. On this page we will provide you with an overview of what else is possible.
Please note: Before using the central IT services of the University of Applied Sciences Erfurt, it is necessary to activate your university account on the FH Erfurt's user portal by changing your initial password.

You can use the FH Erfurt user portal to access your personal data in the identity management system and change your passwords.
Please note: Before using the university's central IT services, you have to activate your university account ("Hochschul-Account") on the user portal of the University of Applied Sciences Erfurt by changing the initial password at https://oas.fh-erfurt.de. -
You can access your mailbox via the Webmail client. The faculties use this service to send study-related information and other important messages. You will find instructions and information on using the university's email provider on the computer centre's IT support pages.

The University of Applied Sciences Erfurt uses the learning management system Moodle. The online learning platform can be used for numerous purposes, such as providing course materials, uploading assignments, taking electronic tests or contributing to forums in a closed course environment. Note to first-semester students and those transferring from other universities: Moodle can only be accessed at the beginning of the semester (1 October or 1 April)!

The University of Applied Sciences Erfurt uses the video conferencing application Webex for its online teaching. You can access Cisco Webex using your usual FH Erfurt login details.

The timetable and room planning software Moses offers you the possibility to access your timetable online and transfer the events to your personal calendar.

Every student at the University of Applied Sciences Erfurt can use the online student portal "Mein FHEcampus" to do the following:
- view your student status (re-enrolment, leaves of absence)
- view past and future payments
- change your address
- download your Certificate of Enrolment
- access your transcript of records (all grades to date)
- register for exams

The university's WiFi offers wireless access to the university's own network and the internet. It is available at the Altonaer Straße, Schlüterstraße and Leipziger Straße campuses.

NetStorage is a web-based service in the university network that enables every student or lecturer to access their own university drive (their allocated data repository) when they are off campus.

Some of the valid licence agreements at the University of Applied Sciences Erfurt permit students to use software licences for private purposes, subject to compliance with the licence conditions.

Students at the University of Applied Sciences Erfurt can rent lockers at our Altonaer and Leipziger Straße campuses on a semester-to-semester basis. The lockers are rented out by the company "Eurobox" online.

New students are enrolled at the University of Applied Sciences Erfurt in both the summer and winter semesters. You can apply or enrol online within the application period given for your specific program. You will find further information about this on the following website: application process
