International Activities
Time spent in other countries can really add value to your studies in Urban and Spatial Planning at the University of Applied Sciences Erfurt. On top of international excursions, time spent abroad, such as work placements or periods of study, helps students to learn about international planning cultures and how they translate into practice. Every city and every country pursues specific strategies to meet their respective spatial challenges. Only a longer stay abroad can provide a more detailed insight into planning processes and projects and allow (urban) spatial planning to be viewed from a different perspective.
Students of Urban and Spatial Planning at FH Erfurt have the following opportunities to gain experience abroad during their studies:
- work placement abroad
- semester abroad
- international workshops
- field trips abroad
