An overview of our tasks
The examination board ensures that the provisions contained in the examination regulations in our departments are complied with. This includes the following:
- Decisions on admission to examinations
- Decisions regarding how examinations are to be organized and carried out
- Appointment of examiners for the examinations
- Decisions regarding recognition of work placements
- Decision on the recognition of academic achievements, periods of study and examinations not undertaken as part of the respective degree program
- Decisions regarding extensions of time limits, failure to attend, withdrawal and cheating as well as invalidation of examinations
- Decisions in appeal proceedings relating to academic and examination matters
